i need someone to watch my new born baby who do i trust? also need info on how to take care of new born & info to tell if something is wrong. i work at odd hours and would like to be as helpfull to my wife as i can. just a first time parent in need of some knowledge. thank you for your info.

well lets see for someone u can trust try a family member or a really close friend of ur family on the whole takeing care of the baby u just gotta make sure u know wut keeps it from crying or u gotta pay attention to like when it wants to eat or when it goes to sleep and as far as helping ur wife out just u know whenever yall are home together wit the baby then just tell her to let u handle it and just share the same amout of time with the baby

first off i just want to say you are so sweet to want to help your wife....theres lots of things to know..... is there any thing inpertcular you are concerned about? and baby sitter..... well just make sure they are cirtifed in cpr and child care. and see that they are good with children. you can always ask for refrences from other parents...and thay can tell you...

be really careful with who you choose to take care of ur baby, make sure that u know that person really good before u trust them with ur child, i'm going through the same thing with my baby, having a hard time leaving her with just anyone... you can find articles on how to take care of ur newborn in lots of websites like: http://www.childdevelopmentinfo.com/..._of_baby.shtml pregnancy.about.com/cs/newbornbabies/a/newbabycare.htm http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pre...p/1198064.html www.mumstheword.com.au/everyday-babycare.htm and the list goes on and on, all u have to do is google it...Dont get too frustrated when ur baby cries, they all do, just take a deep breath, check that the diaper is clean, or that him/her is not hungry, feel the little hands or feet to see if ur baby is cold or hot (their body temperature is not that same as ours), those are the things that babies usually cry about, and after a little while u'll be able to tell the different kinds of cries, when is hungry or dirty diaper, gassy etc. etc. Also Give ur wife a loooot of love and support cause believe me she needs it, giving birth to a child is a big deal and if u feel a little frustrated about it, just imagine how she feels with all those hormones going crazy, just love her, help her out as much as u can and have a lot of patience with both of them...
