My son is five and hasn't been circumsized, is it really necessary after all? When my baby was about to be born the next day, planned c-section, I went to the hospital to pre-admit. Strangely, the lady at the desk asked me if I had my 100.00 for his circumcision. I was mortified. I hadn't been told anything about having cash. I didn't have it on me, and I just assumed he would get it done by his actual pediatrician, who practiced in my town far from where I delivered...(long story). Well, he was born with one testicle undistended. Because of that the pediatrician made us get a urologist to ok the circumcision. We got it and three weeks and 1 day, were given the appointment to have it done. Her assistant called me, however, and told me it was too late. Longer story somewhat short, I tried to hire a moil, and I am not jewish, or anyone who would do it, and no one would. Not even an moil at a tremendous fee. I was told we could do it at 1 yr. or 5 and older. Didn't have the heart at 1 yr.
