Ive been flying by myself since i was 10. Its no big deal at all! At twelve you legally fly as an adult, so its even easier. No filling out forms. As long as he can communicate with whoever is picking him up after the flight, he will be cool. If he doesnt have a cell the attendants outside of the flight have a phone he could use

i say why not. i flew a lot by myself and flight attentents watch over to well and make sure your okay. you should talk it over with him to see if thats really what he wants to do first though.

He sure can. I believe children under age 10 can fly alone, too. Every parent needs to make his or her own decision, of course, but you can consult with the airline you would be choosing to get a picture of how they can help you through the process of flying a child somewhere solo.

They generally allow it at that age. But you need to check with each airline and as long as there is not a layover or if he has to change planes anywhere it should be fine.

I flew by myself when I was 12. Airlines will make sure that your son is supervised on the flight and that he gets to the right place and finds the people waiting for him when he gets off too.

most airlines will let you fly alone once your 10. I know I did.
