Im 28wks pregnant. I had Pre-Clampsia with my last pregnancy. I got it when I was around 36wks until I had my son. I DONT want to have this problem again. It was so bad last time I had to have a C-section. They did keep me in labor for almost 4days Hard Labor to. I was Induced and if you were ever induced then you know what Im talking about. It hits really hard and fast and the pain is horrible!! My Dr. already said she was going to do a C-sec. and Im ok with that since I had one before and I know what will happen. I just don't want to go through the whole Pre-Clampsia and Im starting to think it's happening again and Im not as far along as I was before when I got it. I got my BP checked and it was 138 over 89 (high). She says dont worry but thats what my last Dr said when I was pregnant with my son. I even went to the ER complaining of problems and they just sent me home. well 2 days later I was rushed to the hospital because my BP was way to high. What should I do to keep my BP low?goldspinner: HaHa, No I do not eat spicey foods. I even hate pepper in M&C. I've always been like that. My only bad habit while being pregnant is Chocolate. Thats all. But I will stop that.kellytreen: I never even got headaches that I remember with my last pregnancy when I had PreClampsia. But my BP when I was in the hospital at (40wks) was 120 something over 103. They wouldnt tell me but when my husband looked when I got there thats what it was at. They gave me Sezuire meds as well.

im sorry to hear about this but im afraid to say if you had it once your more than likely to get it again if you alreadyhave the signs then it sounds like it wont be long till they tell you that you have it again just try and take it easy are you getting the headaches yet?maybe you could talk to your midwife and see if theres anything that can be done to make it less serious or stressful for you

try not to worry the midwife will look after you very closely , don't do a lot as this will not help i know its hard when you already have a little one but try and relax as much as possible, i had high blood pressure with both my kids and had c-sections with them both so i no how you are feeling which is probably crap, just try and relax and don't worry too much you will be looked after very good and they no about your past pregnancy so they wont let anything go too far this time
