my 17 year old daughter is breaking up with her boyfriend whom i find to be a very intelligent gentleman. he buys her flowers i see him treat her with respect, he even bought her an expensive promise ring which she did not accept. she says things such as "he's really not a gentleman" and "since he's going to college a long distance relationship will never work", "he flirts with other girls" and "all he wants is to get physical" i honestly know that this boy loves her but she is being stubborn and i think she was making all those comments up just to get me to change my opinion about him. how do i get her to see she is letting go a good catch. [my daughter is 17 starting her senior year in highschool and he is starting his freshman year in college which is only 2 hours away]
