Yes, it's fine. At about 12 weeks old my daughter started sleeping for six hours straight at night. The first night she did that I woke in a panic because I was so used to feeding her every 3 hours! It just means their body is getting better at processing nutrients. Plus growth slows down a bit, they still grow consistently but aren't rapidly adding the pounds like they need to in the first few weeks of life. Now is a good time to try to get your baby to sleep more at night and be awake more during the day. When my daughter did this I still fed her every 3 hours during the day, but at night would let her sleep until she woke up on her own to eat.P.S.- Like the others point out, if your baby is lethargic or doesn't have an appetite, then call your Dr. But if you simply mean that your baby is sleeping longer between feedings, then it's fine. Also your baby should have periods of wakefulness where he/she plays, looks around, smiles, coos, all that stuff.
