...I did last year that I was? really ashamed of. I work for non-profit organization that goes to various parks and does activities with children. There has been this teenager with some major behaviorial issues...constantly hurting other kids, calling people names, swearing...kind of hard to deal with. Well one day last year he was throwing some balls at some younger children, so that already warmed me up to him as you can see. I think later we were all playing a game and he called me a "*****" or something like that. I didn't even think and said "screw you" back to him. I felt horrible because I've never lost control like that before. I think I apologized but I don't remember if I did or not. He still comes around...he just stays away from me. The times he has come, he throws it in my face. I just don't know how to deal with the guilt..you know. I know it wasn't a big deal. I didn't get in trouble for it...I guess I'm just feeling a lot of shame and don't know how to resolve it.

dont feel bad just ignorer it and get on with your life or talk with the parents

You cannot change somebody but you can make them aware of it. Why don't you write him a genuine professional caring letter. Tell him you had a bad day and that you want him to be your friend. It also might help you find closure. I feel like that when I write into my diary, but everybody is different. Hope it all works out for you.BTW, could you vote for my daughter.
