| i also got strong pains aswell, but you may not be in labour, i had a lot of false contractions, a lot of trips to the doctors. So dont worry your not weird, if you are worried than maybe head off to the hospital, they may keep you and monitor you. Trust me when you have a contraction you will know, and they will be very regualr and very very sharp. Sometimes you may have the urge to push...so just keep an eye on the time, and how long the pain lasts for. You could be in labour, can you ring a midwife? because she will tell you when you should come in to the hospital. Good luck and i hope it all goes well

| Im a mom of three and with my last one I did have him at 37 wks. A week before I had him I'm sure I was in there atleast 3 or 4 times when I went into the hospital. And when I finally went into labor I didnt want to believe it. But since your having serious pelvic pain and pressure I would deffently call your doctor! I would rather be safe and call to make sure. Oh and I did go into labor after doing alot of walking. Hope this helps. Good luck!

| firstly, yes call the Dr. That is what they get paid so much for! From about 38 weeks with both my babies I was walking like a cowboy, if I was able to get up at all, and it felt like my pelvis was going to explode. You baby's head may have engaged/be engaging, getting ready for birth so this is probably what you will feel like until D-Day. I always find the last 2 weeks of pregnancy very painful, difficult, exhausing and neverending, but it is truly worth it.You could try warm baths (I lived in my tub!) but make sure you have someone to help you out! A gentle heatpack on your lower back or tummy is nice too. This is not medical advice (obviously!) but it is what really worked for me.As for labour, you might be, but usually you will start to get a backache and tightenings across your belly.Best of luck!
