I have pcos too! But usually after you conceived successfully, it is much easier to get pregnant the second time around, according to my doc. Are your periods regular? Are you still on metformin? If so, then the chances for you to become pregnant again are excellent. I would use an OPK to make sure you are ovulating. Good luck.

I had my daughter on Clomid then I fell pregnant 6 or 7 months after I had her naturally however sadly ended in Miscarriage so you won't nessisarily need to take clomid again the best way to tell is to monitor your cycle for a few months using OPKs (ovulation predictor kits) and if you are getting positive OPK readings chances are you will not need clomid. You can buy OPKs from a chemest or off the internet which is cheaper. GOOD LUCK

I had my first baby with the help of medication, because of irregular periods caused by pcos. Am 25 weeks into expecting the second baby, who was conceived without any medicines. It quite shocked us, I must say. So nothing is for sure in this unpredictable area of conception and pregnancy!Good luck, and don't worry.

I had our first child thanks to Clomid coupled with at-home injections of HCG to force ovulation. We battled infertility for about 7 years prior to conceiving her. So after she was born (December 2003) I went on birth control for a short time. I started having complications from the bcp's (heart palpitations, etc.) so I stopped taking them. We didn't use protection after that. We thought we'd have to use Clomid again to get pregnant because it had been determined that the reason I was unable to conceive was because I wasn't ovulating on my own. So... almost two years go by and... I conceived naturally. It was a total surprise... but a very welcomed one! They say I conceived in November 2005 so it was about a month before my daughter turned 2 years old but I didn't find out until February 2006 because when my periods stopped again I thought it was just the PCOS acting up again (going without periods was normal for me). So, no - you won't necessarily have to take Clomid again! Are you having regular periods? Have you been ovulating at all since you gave birth? Sometimes pregnancy can give our bodies a "kick start" and things start working right after a while. It could totally happen for you!Good luck!
