I was adopted when i was younger. I have my biological father's social security number, and i want to find him, but i dont know how to. I dont have any money to do a search, so are there any free searches i can use? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you can google free records and you can also go to www.whitepages.com if you have his name..you can find ANYTHING on google u just have to type it in RIGHT!! good LUCK!! =)

If you were adopted through an agency or state, there is a form you can fill out. The form will ask for SS# and other demographics for your biological father. If he has registered into the same system and your information matches up, the agency will contact you both.

Do you live in the USA? You have your biological fathers SSN you said. Write to social security administration, find one close to you. Find their address and send a LETTER FORWARDING. On the letter you write that you are trying to locate your biological father, they will send them a letter telling him that you are looking for him, they will give him your name and address, and it's up to him to contact you. i wrote a letter to my father and took it to the social security office unsealed and they took it and said that they would read it to make sure that it was not a bad letter and they mailed it to the last listed address that he had and i found him
