How old was your child when you let them eat popcorn?

I believe she was about 3, i was worried about choking when she was younger than that.

15 months.. i was just careful.... and made sure what she was eating was fully poped. She loved it then... and she still loves it now!

not til she was 2 an a half but she had enlarged tonsils so she had a hard time chomping down hard/solid foods...but every kid is different and all develope differently...if shes chewing well and has had solid foods before and had no problem with swallowing its urs call just be careful with how much u give her and how big the piece it start out with very small pieces of popcorn...if theres no problem go on from there good luck!

my mom let me eat popcorn at 3 and a half...i got addicted to it though

I've heard that they shouldn't have it before they're 5, since it's such a SERIOUS choking hazard, but my son had some at his preschool when he was 3.5. I've since let him have it when we're out, once, but never at home, and only ONE PIECE AT A TIME. And I keep my eye on him.
