How old is too old for a stroller?

When my daughter was 2, a woman working for Victoria's Secret scolded me for having her in a stroller. It was none of her business and when I told her that my daughter was only 2 (not the 4 she looked to be), she seemed surprised and retracted her statement.I don't remember when I said no to the stroller for her. I'm guessing it was probably somewhere during 3. Of course, now she's 4 and when the baby doesn't want to sit still in the stroller, I'll let her take her place.What's your position?

well, let your child walk... but it is your decision. you are the parent and you know the best for your child.

This question was asked not too long ago. I have 2 children an almost 2 year old and an almost 5 year old. I have a double stroller and an umbrella stroller. When we are at an even or place that is crowded/busy that I feel my old one needs to be in a stroller than he is. When we are somewhere calm and I fell its ok for him to be walking around I will grab the umbrella stroller for my younger one. I strongly feel its better to be safe than sorry.

I would say by the time your daughter is 5 it's time to let her walk on her own. Still, there will be times when she'll want to sit in a stroller because she's tired. I remember when we went to Disneyworld my brother was 7 and my sister 10 and I was pushing them around in a stroller because they were so tired! It's no one elses business and young kids need a break or they'll be very cranky.

I would ahve done the same thing..but only you can decide that she is your child and whatever you the is best for her Im sure is the right choice....*Good Luck

unless you want to carry your child when they are sleeping you best bet is to take along the stroller. id really encourage it for long walks or outing (i.e the zoo, mall, walks that are long.)
