How do you answer a 7yr olds question about why his wee wee stands up?

My 7yr old has constantly asking me why his wee wee stands up but this is my only boy and not sure what to say is there anyone that can help me? I really don't want to tell him the wrong answer. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It shouldn't be if he is 7....puberty doesn't start that early...

perfectly normal, perfectly healthy.It's just something that happens, like sneezing, or hicups, or a runny nose...

Well my son is five and about a month ago he said " Mommy there is like this little ball thing" and I said where baby? And he pointed to his scrotum and said what it is. And I chickened out and said go ask Daddy. So thats my advice pass the buck. It's not the greatest advice but it worked for me.

tell him it is a mussel in his body and some times it just does that like some times getting hiccups it just happens so you can try to ignore it when it happens or try to pee ?hope it helps my son is only 1 1/2 so have not got their yet but almost at the period's with the girls.

Tell him that the blood in his body is going there and making it big. That is just how the body works. See if he has to pee.

I would first of all teach him the correct word, penis and explain that some people call them wee wees or privates.I would not make a big deal out of it, I would tell him that is a natural part of being a boy and part of his body.
