Last year my two kids didn't ride the bus from school becuase my youngest was only 5 and we felt she shouldn't ride with the older ones. This year, she is in 1st grade and wants to ride now since her older brother got to ride when he was in 1st grade. It came to light that the bullies who hate my son are now riding the bus home for the first time in years. I don't want my kids on the bus with them in the upcoming year because of how they have acted toward my kids in the past. How can I explain to my kids that they can't ride the bus with those kids? It's really unfair to my daughter but it's easier and safer if they don't have to deal with the bullies. Is there any good logical reasons I can use to get her to understand? Or, should I just let them ride it and hope for the best?

You should contact the school about the problem. They need to be made aware of the bullying and it is their responsibility to put a stop to it.
