 how do i stop? i have a friend who i talk to on the phone we both are into each other but arent going out...but whenever i talk to him i end up talking for the first 5-10 mins and then have nothing really left to say.and he just feels like he has to carry on the convo while i add 'ohs' and 'wows'...i feel boring.i think its b/c im nervous but i can tell it might be kinda annoying him.. what are some tips to help me?? thanks so muchand he seems all cool with the way he talks and stuff..i just dont wanna turn him off..but im just boringthank you!

| if you feel boring when you talk to him then you're not right for each other. you need to find someone that makes you feel interesting and appreciated.

| Get him to talk about himself. Guys love to to tell you whats going on in their world. Ask how his day was. If he works, ask what he does and if he enjoys doing it. If it's something your not familure with ask him to explain it to you. Ask about his friends, and what kind of things he likes to do. Ask what kind of movies he likes to see, ie action or horror, or drama etc...ask what kind of music he likes and so on..... he"ll start asking you the same kind of questions also and before you know it, you'll be having a great conversation. Just relax and be yourself. If all else fails, you can always complain about the weather, lol and say you need to get off the phone that your mom needs to use it, if the conversation is going that bad. Good luck.

| Look for common ground. IE movies you like, quarks you both have, opinions on music, school, whatever. Try to find things to relate to him with. That way you will both be involved in the convo. Figure out his passions and pursuits and see what you know about them. If after really exploring this guy you still find yourself silent very quickly well then you don't have alot in common with him and it will be very hard to make this last. No one likes to carry any part of the relationship on their back. It gets annoying as you have already noted. So try your hardest to get past your reservations and fears. Otherwise you are just poisoning your relationship on accident.
