Hi i have had one depo injection which has run out and im not having anymore it did not agree with me, i went to my gp and he said to do a pregnancy test in two weeks time as i have been having sex when the depo would have been wearing off and then out of my system, this was a week agoi have not had a period like he said i would have, so now im wondering if i could be pregnant and is this has happenned to anyone else.sorry to go on and being pregnant would not be a bad thing always wanted another child!.

i hate the depo shot i had it one time and didnt get my period back for a whole year and this was after trying provera to bring it back which didnt work then i tried herbaldrugs like vitex and super primrose and then it came back which has been about 9 months and i still havent been able to get pregnant...i hate that damn shot and if it was up to me id sue em!!

I wouldnt worry about it you said it didnt agree with you so the chances of your being preg are like one in a billion. it usaly takes 1 year even with just 1 shot to get prg i took me over 2 years to get preg. i think that they should take it off the market or tell people how infertal they can become its like the companys biggest secret! or atleast only give it to drug addicts and hookers who shouldnt get preg during that time in there life. and ember a lack in a MP after depo going of is VERRRY commen like 75-80% of ppl still wont get there MP for atleast 3 months so just take a test and you will know 100% and if you are preg thats awesome for you since its something that would be a nice surprise for you. Also my midwife said that if you have problems with the hormones in BC that its better you dont take any of it becase it increases your chances of brest ovarian and utern cancer! i use a diaphram and spermaside now =) good luck!

i am on the depo now, i came off it a year ago as it was making my depression worse, anyway it took my body a good two weeks to get back to normal then i had my first period and to be honest it was the worst period i ever had, be aware that your period may last longer and be heavier than normal, as you haven't had one for a long while. If in a few weeks nothing happens i advise to take another test, if it comes back negitive go and see your gp or nurse, nurses are easier to talk to about this sensitive sort of thing and you will feel more comfortable talking to a lady

i had the depo and took about 6 months for my period to regulate back when i got off of it, and took me 3 years to get pregnant after being on it, depo was a horrible experience for me

hi there i was on the depo for 6 years i came off it in aug and it took my 6 months to concieve i dont think you are pregnant it takes a while to get out of your system.saying that you were on it for only 3 months best to get checked out good luck let us know the out come
