Does anyone know about the head start early childhood program?

I would like to know if anyone has participated, if so what was your experience, is it helpful, is it a good program? Any info would be helpful, thank you. My grandson is 11 months old.

My Aunt has been an administrator in the head start program in CT for over 2 years and she always talks about how beneficial it is for the children to get an early start on learning, i dont have any personal experiences with them but i have always heard good things about them
