do you ever find yourself getting bored of parenthood?

i love my 5 more than anything, but there are somedays where parenthood is just so annoying and boring that i hate it. i feel myself wishing that is was single again and i know it is not very motherly and even selfish of me but there are days where being a mom just ****s

Yes, yes, yes. Sometimes it's just too much for me, even though I only have 1 (#2 on the way). But you know what, you just need a break, that's all. My husband and I had to travel overseas so I took my daugther to my mom and she's been staying there for 2 months now. First two weeks were okay. Now I miss my daugther so badly that I want to cry every night I go to bed. I miss her talking, her hugs and kisses, her naughtiness, her mess, everything. I can't wait to see her again which will be in August.

i never even once had that feeling of parenthood boredom in my 35 years being parent.

Not boring, but very frustrating at times. See if your parents can help you by taking the kids for a while and you and your hubby go out on a date every other weekend. Go out with friends every other weekend or so. Start a playdate where you and your friends get together and play cards or something like that. Not much I know, but my kids are grown now and all are out of the house so I hope this little bit will help. Good luck.
