| I'm really small, when I say really small, I mean REALLY small!!!I'm old enough to go into junior clothes, but I still fit into 12's, 14's, and 16's.(just barely) I love my mom, it's just that she really wants me to go into junior clothes and I still fit into pre-teen's clothes on the other side of the store!!! Any advice on what to say to my mom???????

| I have the same problem. im 15 and i can still fit into 12, 14 ,16 and some tens depending on the size. i prefer to wear childrens clothing most of the time because i think they look better. my mom actually likes that im still so small because children clothes cost alot more. just tell her that you are more comfortable with children clothing and that they fit bettter.

| Heck, if they don't fit, there's nothing she can do to change that. You can humor her for a while, but it will still be a while until she can realistically expect you to be able to shop there. Tell her you'll shop over there when you're able to, and if she tries to convince you there's going to be one cut of one size of one brand of jeans in the juniors that'll just HAVE to fit somebody your size (she just knows it) tell her she can have fun looking for them by herself.

| first ask her for permission to speak freely, of course she will give it to you but this is something often seen in the military, it shows respect and the person can't really get to pissed off if your polite about it and this is not something that should insult her in any way. just tell her you still prefer them and politely ask her to respect that seeing as it is much more comfortable and that you are the one who has to wear it all day. let her reply and go from there but what ever you do, DON'T argue if she gets pissed, appologise for having offended her, tell her you just you felt the need and right to express your opinion, she will respect this and prob. allow your more freedom of choice. gl.p.s. deal with the arguments (if any) in a diplomatic way. think calmly all the time and don't let things get to your head, wait until she stops talking to talk and when she inturpts stop, if she asks questions answer then, tell her that altough she has compelling reasons, you have considered the matter and much prefer those clothes.

| I don't understand why your mum feels this way. My soon to be 15 year old daughter is a small person who would fit into children clothes most of the time but we find that there are loads of shops that sell small fitting mod clothes in the mall. She hates to buy stuff from the children side of the store so we don't go to the likes of Big W etc. You have to buy and wear what you feel OK in, as long as it is tasteful then what is your mums problem?
