| I need help thinking of a theme for my twins 2nd birthday. Their b-day is 8/21. We are going shopping this weekend to get party supplies. What do you think we should have the theme be. Should we have it the same theme for both or two diferent themes. They are g/b twins. They like: Winnie the Pooh Dora Blue's Clues Wonder Pets Construction Princesses I think I will do Dora and Diego, you know Dora for Katie and Diego for Zach.

| Because they are only two I would do one theme. You are going to end-up doing two in the future, but why start making it hard now. Winnie the Pooh would be cute or you could do Dora and Diego.

| I think it would be easier to do one theme that they both agree on. I know Dora seems to be popular so you will probably be able to find a lot of Dora birthday party stuff.

| Honestly, I would ask the kids what they want. The decorations will only last the day but the memories a life time for you. I let my kids pick out decor with in a reasonable budget. Let them each pick. compromise who picks plates, napkins and so on. Remember to take lots of picture for you albums and enjoy the day. The cakes should be of their choice as well. Most bakers can do a double theme on one cake if they are worth their reputation. And if you are a home made type person I know you will be mare than able to buy those little sugar thingys for added decoration to the cake/s

| Dora and Diego~ you can make a safari birthday with them charaters in it and they work together sometimes, i think that would be neat for both of them.

| oh, go for princess for the little girl for sure! Then get something for the boy like the construction stuff. They need their own identities even if you are doing the party together. It doesn't take much to get different plates and hats and goodie bags for each of them. Have a great time --- my kids are 2 years and 2 days apart and i always have their family party together but kept the themes different, it made them feel special.
