My daughter is turning 5 and I need ideas for unique parties on a budget. (I'm in the tampa bay area if that helps)

Do a princess party. Just invite some of her girl friends over and tell them all to dress up. Serve Tea ( or any beverage in tea cups) will skones and birthday cake. You can entertain them all by having another mom come over and help do some pampering. Do their hair, makeup, paint their nails etc. Just a cute little girly day and pretty cheap.

You can incorporate anything into the party. My daughter turned 5 in Feb. We have a party at our house, it was a ballerina party. Everything was dance themed. We did pin the tu tu on the ballerina, (posterboard-draw ballerina minus the tutu then cut out contruction paper tutus) we did musical chairs. Freeze dance and then as the party wound down I let the kids decorate sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles and we put them it a bag and that was there goodie bag. We did the party in the middle to late afternoon. I put out a fw sandwhichs like pb & j and cut them into triangles so they could snack on those and I didnt have to do a big meal, little girls dont eat alot anyway because they are busy playing. Im usually on at night. the year before was simular only it was a dress up tea party and we pinned the crown on the princess and all the kids came in a princess dress.
