How to Tell if Someone Fancies You
Ever felt like someone fancies you? Heard rumours but not sure if they're really true? This simple guide will teach you the biggest signs...you may even find you're putting the signals out there yourself! Steps - Raise a brow. If someone is interested in your looks, they will raise their eyebrows for around one fifth of a second after seeing you. (To show interest in someone, try raising your eyebrows for a little longer upon meeting them).
- Point it out. Subconsciously, we point at things we are interested in with our feet, head, hands, fingers, eyes, or any other part of our bodies. Be it a cake or a good-looking person of the opposite sex, if someone's pointing at something and it looks like they don't mean to - you can almost be certain they like it.
- Keep an eye out. The pupil of an eye will dilate slightly when you look at someone you fancy. Because of this, you will blink slightly more than normal. A good way of knowing if someone is really interested in you is by blinking more. If they really do like you, they will subconsciously increase their blink rate to try to be like you.
- Check your reflection. Mirroring is a good flirting technique. You gently mirror the actions of the person you are flirting with, and as you do this (hopefully) they will see that you have small things in common. Look carefully and see if the person you are talking to is mirroring you.
- Talk to the friend of the person you suspect of fancying you. It probably won't be hard to get some clues out of them.
Warnings - Some people raise their eyebrows as a greeting; do not confuse this with a sign of respect.
- Make sure the person isn't pointing at someone behind you by slowly edging to the left or right.
- Some people naturally have big pupils and blink alot.
- Just because someone has one of the signs above showing that they fancy you, doesn't mean it's for sure. Don't, however, wait to be sure; live life for the moment! If you wait until you're sure it's your train, it will have left the station.
- Some people may fancy you and be extremely good at hiding the signs. You just never know!
