In my opinion, this is a major challenge of all close relationships....to negotiate differences. In your words, towork out misunderstandings......It would be a sad world indeed if every time those in relationship (marriage, dating, engaged, friends, even family members)had a misunderstanding.....one or both would walk away, neverto resolve the issues.....There could be so many shared values, so much joy, so many shared dreams.....all dashed because one or bothare stubbornly clinging to having his/her own way, and notchoosing to discuss and work out a negotiable solution.So I think it is a beautiful, responsible, mature idea towork out misunderstandings---honestly, lovingly, andequally.I wish you all the best life has to give....DorisWithWingsofAngels@comcast.net
