What is the best way to determine your political philosophy?

by considering each issue with logic and reason, ignoring talk shows, and voting for the person whom you feel matches your own views on the important issues.

pay attention to events taking place and reflect upon them. Also, ask yourself how you feel about moral issues and the power of government.

What is important to you is your political philosophy. In my case I love my family. When anything causes suffering to my family I look for a solution and the cause. In the past 5 years. Almost every insurance claim submitted has not been paid. I have not been allowed defense in court and have won some of these cases on my own only to have the Insurance company still not pay and damaging my credit. A reporting system that has been used to prevent me from getting housing, and jobs because of lack of representation in court and in government.Just a small example of the destruction caused by the current government and this is only a few examples.

Your political philosophy cannot be based solely on your positions or beliefs regarding specific issues, rather, it comes from your moral compass, what you have learned, and what you have experienced. Another important factor is the strength with which you support or oppose any of the pertinent issues facing our country today. Only you can decide what is important enough to you that it will challenge you to take a stand. Political philosophy has nothing whatsoever to do with the current parties, but everything to do with how well they represent your morals and beliefs. Frankly, I truly do not believe that it is currently possible for any one specific party to represent any ones philosophy in total. There are just to many variables involved.
