you could change a decision you made or somethng you done, but you would loose everything you have since that point. Would you do it?? Would you at least like to retain a memory of everything from that point, even though you loose it?

Yeah I would go back 3 years I would have accepted going to GT (gifted and talented class) and enriched math and spent more time with my daddy!

I have thought of this often and the conclusion I come to is that I wouldn't change my life now for any retries. It's not that my life is perfect (far from it). It isn't that I don't have some major regrets and things I'd give a limb to be able to fix. It's just that you never know how things might have turned out. Sure I could have gotten a degree and made lot's of money but my path would never have crossed my husbands. I might be rich but alone or in an awful relationship. I know this sounds so loving but I'm not saying my husband perfect or that someone better couldn't be out there just that this life is pretty okay. I guess if I had a really miserable life instead of a really average one I might feel different. The long and short of it is you can't really go back so everytime you think about regrets the best you can do is think of how they led you to whatever IS going good in your life. It's really more of an exercise in positivity then a philosophy. It's good to remember regrets to a certain degree becaus if you have to have them you might as well spin them into wisdom like straw into gold.

If I did make that deal and lost my life I certainly wouldn't want a memory of what I had lost because that would only lead to more regrets.

I wouldnt want to because I know eventually I will make a worse mistake then the one I want to fix now, and then Id be like dammit..I used up my retry.
