I think that we all have a long list of failed opportunities in our life. I know I have. I have lost opportunities that I sometimes regret in both my personal and professional life. Some of them I wish I could take back, but then it would drastically change my life from what it is now. I work in the entertainment field and have received some offers from some power players such as WCW Wrestling, Dreamworks Studio and Dick Clark Productions. I turned them down because of family obligations and due to my dream of remaining in my home state to make films and work in the entertainment industry. The money and credits were better with those opportunities, but then again I would have never achieved the things that I have if I left. So lost opportunities can sometimes mean finding happiness at a different level. I look at life from the stand that if it was suppose to happen, it will. If it wasn't, then something else just as exciting will find its way to me.
