Do you agree with someones philosophy, but dislike their motivation?

I know a lot of people who want to get rich, but the only one's whose motivation I support are the ones who don't intend to buy enormous houses or live like kings. It's the people who live for others that I appreciate. I love to see people try to get out of debt and help people in any way they can without trying to take a bunch of credit.

I would use religion as an example. I certainly believe in a lot of their philosophy and most really have similar ideas that they follow. But almost (if not all) all have a motivation that I do not agree with. Same with most politicians.
