| So many people nowadays are so insular that they seem to think "None of my business" when they see something suspicious and walk on by.I think this is the way todays society has taught them to be, no-one takes responsibility for their own actions any more, it was always someone elses fault or they didn't know better etc.Surely it's better to spend 2 minutes making a call than knowing you could have done something to prevent any loss of life?

| They definitely deserve a reward. They saved a lot of lives which doesn't happen too often. And if people were rewarded more often for doing such then maybe more and more people would begin to follow this trend and possible make the world a safer place. But it could also have a bad effect to where people could be doing this stuff on purpose just to make themselves look good.

| Yes i think the do deserve some recognition but if i were them i would not want an award i think being responsible for saving so many live would be more then enough of a reward!

| It wasn't a couple that alerted anyone, it was the ambulance crew....also it wasn't early this morning, it was early hours of friday morning."Officers were called to The Haymarket, near Piccadilly Circus, after an ambulance crew -- responding to a call just before 1:30 a.m. about an injury at a nearby nightclub -- noticed the smoke, Clarke said. A bomb squad was called to the scene, and manually disabled the bomb. Early photographs of the silver Mercedes showed a canister, bearing the words "patio gas," indicating it was propane gas, next to the car. The back door was open with blankets spilling out.
