...the 1st anniversary of his death? truth is i dont know if i can do it or not.if i do then i think everything has gone and if i dont then im not carrying out his last wish. What would u do under these circumstances?

You can do it. have friends with you who knew you both, and get them to support you (physically if necessary). You owe him that much in respect for his wishes.

in my religion they say not to but if i think outside of my beliefs i will tell you that not all is gone even if his ashes are spread. You have the place they were spread and all of your memories you made together. that is what is important material can get stolen lost or broken but the feelings and memories that you shared are forver. IF that was his last wish you should carry it out.

Keep some of the ashes for yourself and scatter some of the ashes. Best of both worlds and everyone is happy.

You can have a small amount put into a piece of jewelry, then you have it for all times and he is never really gone. The rest you can scatter per his request. I'm sorry for your lose.

I think you could wait until you are ready. After all its you who is the grieving party, and in all respect to your late partner, he does not have to deal with what you are going through. If he were here and you could talk to him about this would he be understanding? If you feel he would, go ahead and do it on your time table. I am missing my husband for 2 years and 8 months now. It does get somewhat easier. Take care.

you have to do it. perhaps you can save a bit of the ashes, I am sure he would not mnind. I have plans for my ashes and if I knew they would not be carried out I would be devestated and heartbroken. I want part of me to be at the places I loved the most. my family has photos and memories and physical momentos of my life to remember me.
