 Why is my anxiety so bad? I went to the doctor already.. got medication. (lexapro) it helped for a while but the anxiety seems to be slowly creeping back and i hate it! do I need a higher mg? whats going on? anyone have the same issue?

| The trouble with most medications is the tendency to wear off over time, and requiring higher doses. As the dose increases the side effects begin to get more severe. Lexapro is a drug with many lasting side effects. Try to work on causes of your anxiety. Only you can decide what they are, but typically center around relationships, work, family, etc... Diet & exorcise can have a huge impact on getting well, as can the use or abuse of alcohol and other drugs. Good luck, its a long road back to health. http://www.theroadback.org/
