| I cracked two teeth chewing on ice - God knows why I did that - but I ended up having to get crowns on both of them - at a cost of $1,000+ for each one. Plus it was painful having it done. I'll never chew ice again! Try to just **** on the ice if you can - you don't want your baby to have a mom with missing teeth. *s*

| Are you eating the ice, or ****ing on it? ****ing on ice is fine, but when you weaken and bite down, you can harm your teeth. I cracked a tooth doing that.

| My hygienist said it can cause microscopic cracks in your teeth. But, I can't help myself, I still eat ice all the time.

| It makes small cracks in your teeth, and can eventually crack your teeth altogether. Even knowing this I still keep doing it. lol

| A craving for ice can be a sign of iron deficiency anemia.

| It is supposedly bad for your teeth (when you think about it I guess it is) but it is also linked with a psychological disorder (not really threatening or anything) called pica, or the desire to chew/crush/eat ice. It is linked with anemia, a condition that you don't have enough iron in your blood. Pregnant women and menstruating women such as yourself are prone to it.
