| I have attention defecit disorder and I honestly can't tell when I have over done it! I apparently upset some people, including my hubby, his youngest daughter, and son, as well as my own mother, and step dad,and also a lady that I worked for...they have all told me that I "talk too much!!"I don't know when I went "too far"..how can I tell? What are the simple cues here? I want to be ME, but, not when people are making fun of me..and thinking Horrible thoughts about me..this makes me feel kind of down, actually.I have gone thru a lot of ridicule because of different issues with my A.D.D. I was once on adderall (for the A.D.D. and I got sooo quiet that a friend of mine didn't expect the way that I was..in fact I was "too quiet" apparently!) lol! But, I just kind of shut down if I am "blue" over this issue...and or depressed or ill!anybody have any answers for me?Anybody with A.D.D. that knows where I have been, and still am?Heeeelllpp!thanks!I don't take medications right now...what do you think..would it be better for me to be on meds or what?

| there you go again! asking too much, talking too much.he he he just kidding!! be aware when you are into it ..like when you see people with 'awestruck' faces and when you haven't got any answer to your question ..it means you are not giving a space for anyone to say something. ..time to pause. at least, you are aware of it!

| add is a hard thing to live with.May I suggest you just be aware that other people are not aad and therefore don't understand your situation. Why not try to be quite for a while. Don't worry about what others have to say . If you are obnoxious then you deserve to be told that you are.I understand where you are coming from but to people who don't have add then you have no hope in convincing then that the add is the problemWhy not join a add support group and get help from fellow sufferers.

| If people start walking away from you when you're talking in mid sentence, that's your cue to cut the conversation short. Low self-esteem is the culprit. You have to learn to relax and be yourself. It seems that down the line from childhood, you always had to have something to say because older adults, never listened to you. This influenced you to talk "AT" them which makes your conversations unmindful, shallow, and quite irritating. Don't worry, you are a kindred spirit. It's just best to be a good listener and allowing people to talk. When you do, you will master the "Art of listening".
