Question about the skin graft that I got in 1989? Any ideas? I had a foot injury that required a skin graft directly over the joint of the big toe. It is about the size of a quarter. I wasn't able to go to rehab (lack of funds), and the graft 'annealed' to the joint. If I try to break it loose, through 'hard' massaging, might this work? I know it would take a long time, but could I steadily break it loose over a year or so? I'm just wondering if this is what they would do in rehab. I can't afford any medical insurance, or procedures, or I would talk to a doctor about it. It hurts pretty bad most of the time, and it's getting more painful as the years go by. I know it would feel better if the skin wasn't 'stuck' to the joint, I'm pretty sure that it isn't arthritis. I know this is probably a stupid question (it's gotta be WAY too late to do anything about it) , but I have nothing to lose by asking it. What are some of the 'rehab' methods for skin grafts?
