Psychology major- College Bound and Curious!!!??

im starting college on august 20th and will be a psychology major. i just got my books and am starting to read my psychology book to be better prepared for class, i find it VERY interesting and have a passion for it and plan to go to grad school to get my PhD. I was wondering though do you think reading the book beforehand is going to do me any good or will the class be all notes and require very little of the book? ALSO is being a psychology undergrad major hard?

I started my bachelors with Psychology Major but I found it to hard, BUT! it depends on the person, I'm not a Biology wiz either. -anyways, it is best to read before hand that way you know what the prof. is talking about, even if the class is all notes most of the time the prof. takes the notes from the book =)
