...nose and mouth. WHY ???? This happens not only when he is stressed but while he is just on the couch watching TV. It sounds horrible but I can't stand to look at him anymore cuz of these really bad twitches. He says that he is aware of them sometimes but not always.

Is he a normal human being?if "yes", go c a doctor.but if "no", i'm afraid...

he is your husband, it's not very nice for you to say you can't stand to look at him anymore!if he wanted to, he could make a doctors appointment to see if they can find out what's causing this.you need to be supportive to him rather than criticising.

I get the same thing. They were non-stop and I developed a large bleeding blister in the area between my nose and upper lip. I worked reallllllly hard to get rid of them; it was like not being able to breathe and they went away for a good while. They are coming back but not so bad but it's such an involuntary thing. It is caused by the same part of the brain that causes tourette's syndrome. It cannot be treated to my knowledge. Just concentrated on to try to stop.

Look into Tourettes, it could be that.
