Don't know who can help me out here, but here it goes...

My parents are both permanantley disabled. Both on dialysis. My dad can get around and do things, but too much gets him tired easliy. My mom has a plethra of things wrong with her, including diskites which makes it painful to turn her head, and a recent (1mo ago) survivor of a stroke. She had a heart attack in january as well. She is in a nursing home in pierre sd which just ****s. Won't get into that. They want to move to Nevada, where my mom is from.

They have medicare, but not medicaid. Don't know if they qualify for it or not, they don't qualify for a lot of government stuff cuz of the social security.

What is the best way to get my parents moved over there? Will medicaid pay for my moms nursing home costs? would it pay for assisted living for my dad? and what exactly IS assisted living?
