| i think i've come to realize the concept of monogamy is a load of doodoo. i'mnot some shallow man by any means. i actually have a lovely wonderful woman in my life. being with one person for long periods of time is simply not part of our nature or nature for that matter. society has created this idea of monogamy over the generations and generations of man. what do you people think?religion certainly has a huge role here. very much. rules for society. rules

| On what do you base this assumption? If you truly love your woman, you won't want to look elsewhere. No offense meant, but it sounds as if you're trying to justify "wandering". Do you want your woman to do that to you?

| It has been theorized that men (the individuals) since the inception of man (the race) have a biological imperative to spread their seed to as many females as possible. Thus ensuring that their genetic code is as widely dispersed as possible. Women, on the other hand, seek to find the best genetic material to pass on to their offspring. I think that this is hogwash as we are not mere animals seeking to reproduce. We are, or at least should be, thinking, rational individuals fully capable of practicing a little thing I like to call self control. The watering down of religious and social mores by the "me first generation" is destroying the nuclear family unit, driving up health care costs, and expanding the welfare state. That doesn't sound very good to me. Keep the pecker in your pants unless you are with your wife. Check out psychological bonding during intimacy and how it correlates with spiritual bonding during intimacy as depicted in the Bible.

| Look at it this way. We are mammals. If you look at animals they find the best mate, bang them a few times then move on to the next best mate they can find. Its how we are, plain and simple. Always looking for a hotter chick to lay the wood to.
