About a month ago I woke up with an extremely clogged ear, which I could barely hear out of. It lasted for several weeks, but cleared up as the day went on. A month later I went to my doctor for a check up. And I told him the problems I had with my ear. He looked in it and saw a lot of wax. He tried getting the the wax out by flushing it out with water and a big metal syringue instrument. It didn't work, and now several days later, the ear is completely clogged. I can't hear anything, besides myself talking, chewing, etc in the ear. I tried the peroxide trick, and it's no difference. I have to wait a couple days to get to an ENT. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Does it sound like anything serious? It's very difficult to function throughout the day like this.
