| I know that you don't only burn calories while working out. I heard that you mostly burn calories after the workout. Your body keeps on burning calories and fat even after the workout. Lets say you burn a simple 300 calories running for 15-25 minutes. How much will you burn in the rest of the day. And, should you keep on moving to amplify these affects? I don't mean working out more, I mean instead of sitting down I'll help my body burn more if I stand right?

| You dont actually physically burn the calories. However, because your metabolism is higher you will probably burn about 25 calories an hour.And for every 5 grams of "muscle" you put on, you burn of an extra 75 calories an hour.So if you work it out, you might as well just not eat that extra digestive biscuit.What does it matter how many you burn after excercise, if you want to lose weight do the excercise and afterwards instead of worrying if that mars bar you want to eat will get burned off, eat an apple.
