those people that prescribe medication to those people who have cancer, and how much money do they make. and how long do they have to go to college and medical school. Thank you all.

Forget about it, you are too preoccupied with the money instead of helping real people. Have you ever lived with someone that had cancer for almost a decade. EVERY DAY being bed-bound, vomitting strange black and bloody liquid, constantly screaming in pain because of all the medicine "people like you gave her" corroded her organs until she bleed to death. Have you ever seen that? Maybe you should and come back and tell me how excited you are about the money.

You need a bachelor's degree, which takes, usually at minimum, 4 years. Medical school is 4 years. After medical school, you then do an internal medicine residency for 3 years. The length for a hematology/oncology fellowship is at least 3 years (this involves research and clinical duties). So at minimum, you are looking at 14 years of school after graduating high school.As for salary, the amount depends on where you live. If you live in Columbus, OH, the 25th percentile is $186K and the 75th percentile is $321K. A lot of factors are involved to determine the pay of a doctor of any kind..
