he forgot my b-day why do men do this?

it was on the 28th and he forgot? Why do men do this is it a warning sign? I'm very hurt and so upset and i just don't know what to think. were both 24 and have been together for almost a year.i did remind him a lot i just don't think he cares that much

men are like that.. when me and my ex was together i never had to remind him of mine or our girls.. but his daughter from a previous relationship .. i always had to remind him of hers..and he did find out about her when she was 17.. you just been together not quite a year.. the date may have not sunk in yet..does he forget xmas.. or valentines... if he does than i would worry abit

men dont have memory like women do men can rember lines of movies and other such thing but have a hard time rembering important dates if u remind him a lot he should rember it my boyfriend writes all the important dates on his calander so he rembers them
