funny light in my eye?

ok this is sooo weird! but when i take pics just on my phone, my right eye only has a funny bright pink light in it when the picture has been taken - now i know you get red eye, but its only on that eye. whats that mean? and does it have something to do with how the light catches it? or should i get it checked out by the optician? weird thing to ask but i was bored so just wondering

i wear reading glasses and have a stigmatism (sp?) if that helps the answers

Ok that is odd................not sure. Red eye is red, not pink! I guess you should get it checked out! Wont hurt!

I would have it checked as it could indicate a problem.

I think I would be more concerned about the eye that DOESN'T show a red/pink light. Red eye is caused by light reflecting from the retina. It could be nothing at all to worry about and probably is but an eye check doesn't take long and is cheap/free. Eyes are very important obviously, so keep a check on them.
