| I took a nap with my contact lenses on and when i was going to remove it some hours later, the other pair wasn't on anymore. i'm paranoid that it slipped back and was stuck behind my eyes. is that possible?

| It probably fell out. I've went to sleep in mine and this happened. I don't think this can happen. You can check with your eye doctor to be sure

| Completely behind your eye? Nooooo... it could potentionally slip up a little bit under your eyelid but you'd be able to feel it. It probably just fell out.

| Not possible. It can get stuck way up under your lids, but never behind your eyeball. There is a membrane (called your conjunctiva) that prevents that. More than likely, you'd know if the lens was still in there, so it may have popped out. If your eye turns red, tears up a lot, or you start to get some headaches, you may want to go see your optometrist and see if the lens is stuck up under your upper lid.

| I have been wearing contacts for about 18 years and I am ashamed to say I don't care for them regularly so I have had that happen to me quite a bit.I did call my eye doctor and they said you have a membrane around your eye that prevents things from getting behind it.If it's in there it probably just caught suction on the eye in the lid,you would feel something, sometimes putting eye drops in helps release it.It's just a good chance you rubbed it out without realizing it and it may have dried up and shattered(depending on how long your nap was).I'm sure you're fine, just keep and eye on it(no pun intended,LOL)

| yes they can do that. what you want to do next time is when you go to sleep wait a little while and keep blinking a lot so that the moisture comes back and your contacts become wet again and they won't be stuck anymore

| Go with what Nell and Eyemaster31 are saying. and if one of the lenses is stuck up in your eyelid, eye drops will probably knock it lose.
