Best treatment for an Ear Infection?

I have an antibiotic, but I am still in pain.Is hydrogen peroxide ok to place in the ear? What about useing a little olive oil or garlic oil in the ear? Bake a large onion until it becomes soft, and tie it over the ear? What you do you think is the way to help this pain without causeing more pain?

just keep taking antibiotic and pain reliever like tylenol. you could try warm compresses on your ear.

Don't do the garlic oil!!...i tried that for an ear ache and not only will you smell the garlic for a good three days (ear nose and throat are connected). it opens your head up like menthol...and the last thing you want is your senses hightened with an earache...try to go to your local walgreens in the medicine aisle there are ear drops that are made by Similsaline (sp) not sure if the spelling is correct...try those..
