Anyone ever lose weight with birthcontrol? I always gain.?

I have tried several different types of Birth control. Pills, depo shot, nuva ring. They all made me gain weight. Anyone tried anything that didn't do that?

I didn't gain any weight with Gynera, but I don't know if it is available in the States.

I always gained weight too. I quit taking birth control because it isn't natural! It's messing with your hormones and I wonder how many cases of breast cancer and ovarian cancer are related to women taking birth control. Use barrier methods and find a guy that will support you in this. It isn't worth the risk of blood clots, early menopause, WEIGHT GAIN, and tons of other problems that develop from using it.

research shows no correlation between birth control and weight gain. in theory increased estrogen could cause water retention but the endocrine system conpensates and quickly adjusts to maintain homeostasis.
