Is the alcohol in antibacterial hand creams absorbed into the bloodstream?

I know it won't get you drunk by rubbing your hands with Cuticura and the likes, but I'm curious if intensive use could have a potentially negative impact on a fetus when pregnant (especially during first trimester). Please provide a reliable link if possible.
