Rufus - So war is okay as long as you only get a few soldiers killed? I fail to see your point.
Our soldiers were carrying rifles during these "humanitarian missions." Maybe no American soldiers died during Kosovo, but did they know there would be no casualties going in?

I just talked to a man who was a medic in the Balkans, and he told me the whole graphic story about how his best friend died bleeding in his arms.

War is war. Give me an answer to my question, not some BS about how you can't compare one WAR to another.

How do two wrongs make a right? You think that because you invoke the name of Clinton our position will somehow magically change? But, one major difference is we were there under the auspices of the UN. We can make no such claim in Iraq.

Not 1 U.S. soldier died during Kosovo.

The situation in Kosovo was much like the situation now in Darfur.
Tens of thousands of women were raped because the rapists thought this would cleanse them of their ethnicity!

It was a deplorable terrible situation.

I worked with some Bosnians several years ago and there children had to stay in the house for 2 years without leaving.
that was because of ethnic cleansing and snipers along with a misconception on the part of many people around there thought that the red crosses on the tents were cross hairs.

And the anti war types were working at DOT COMS.

You aren't seriously trying to compare the limited peace-keeping miltary engagements in the Balkans with this massive, endless, unprovoked invasion in the Mid-East??

are in office.......they go along with liberal Democrats, no
matter whether about war, abortion, gay life, taxes, racist
