Should the greek government support the Albanian fight against the so called "Republic of Macedonia"? This is sth i think for a lot of time...The governments in Skopje continue an aggresive policy towards Greece. These governments continue to launch attacks against the cultural heritage of Greece and they also support the annexation of the Greek territory of Macedonia. Some Albanian nationalists also claim a part of Greek territory (in Epirus) but this position is not supported by the governments in Tirana (or Pristina)...On the contrary the annexation of parts of the Greek territory by Fyrom is supported by almost every party in Skopje (even the left wing parties support the idea that a part of Macedonia is occupied by Greece). This threat, posed by the so called "Macedonian" state towards Greece, has become permanent.Should we support the Albanians in Fyrom in order to finish this state once and for all?Its obviously that even if Fyrom joins NATO or the EU these attacks wont cease. The question is mainly adressed towards Greeks and Albanians. Is it possible an alliance between us?
