Well, I have been selling on ebay for 6 months with the plan to make a living off of it. This is what I have done so far, maybe you can too.

First, sell things laying around your house...they are free for now and you can make money for capital. You will also gain experience with ebay and get some feedbacks to establish your name. After about 6 months, or whenever you feel ready, invest in an ebay store (the basic store is $15.95/mo. now) and you can pay by the stuff you already sold by then.It depends on what you sell, but for most products you can use a dropshipper, where you put an item up for sale...collect the money from the customer (higher than what the dropshipper wants--there's the profit), then pay the dropshipper for the merchandise and they send it to the customer. You never see the product, or send it and you buy it with the money the customer paid you, not out of your pocket. A good dropshipper is hard to find though, and beware of scams. Also if you can afford just a few dollars, you can buy ebooks and sell those. They are now very popular on ebay. some are very low, like .89 or .99. Do a search under ebooks on ebay to see the lowest. The good thing about them is you pay for them once but can sell them over and over 1000 times if you want, at any price you want. Cool, huh?Lastly, I'd have to say be patient. It's a matter of trail and error on ebay, you may have to try a few different things until something clicks .......never give up!Well, those are just a few ideas, there are many others. Hope it helped!Nancala
