I had whole wheat cous-cous. I added chicken apple sausage cooked in salsa to it. Then I added shelled halved pistachios.Quite nummy

My best "made up" dish was:Can of chicken meatCan of cream of chicken soup - condensed2 cups white riceOne teaspoon curry powderOne teaspoon Old BayCombine with one cup water in a microwave safe casserole.Option: One tablespoon dry white wine, sherry, or vermouth. Cook for 5 minutes on high, then 15 minutes on 70%.Uncover, stir, allow to stand for about 5 minutes. Great on a cold night with salad or green beans!Pass salt and pepper at the table so the diners and add to taste.

I make all kinds of crazy stuff. One example was at a party one night all my mates were starvin after being out on a mad one. I boiled pasta, rice, potatoes. I then fried sausage meat in small balls, on another pan burger meat in small balls and rashers in another pot. I added the onions to the sausages and mixed them with the boiled potatoes and fried off the lot. I then got the bacon and mixed it with the pasta and some onion and added a tin of tomatoes and half a cube of chicken stock. With the burger meat i fryed it with the rest of the potatoea and onions and added some chicken stock and water 2 a kind of stew. With the rice i finished it with a stock cube and added some onions a half a pepper and some raisins. It was basically all i had in the press 2 work with but it was gorgeous. It was the first time i met most of my mates 8 yrs ago and they still go on about it today.

I have never tried it myself but my sister likes putting salad dressing on her rice or macaroni & cheese.

I made a vegetarian gumbo to die for and it was an accident. very easy recipe. I cubed up some eggplant and added some okra sliced thin and some home grown tomato and bay leaf. after 10 minutes of a hot saute' I mashed the veggies up. and then added a little salt and pepper. It tasted just like a fancy gumbo! my people loved it and wondered what it was and i said veggie gumbo!!

My husband makes an awesome pepperoni and carrot soup. After a houseboat trip, I once had a ton of vanilla ice cream and apples and cinnamon instant oatmeal, so we mixed it (dry oatmeal on ice cream). It is by far my favorite ice cream ever since.
